  • The segments they used were divided only by geographical region, with no differentiated messages or profiles. All campaigns were massive, with messages sent to the entire base indiscriminately.
  • The result was depersonalised, non-strategic, high cost per click communications and sales.
    Consumers received frequent emails that were not of interest to them, damaging their brand perception by viewing these communications as spam.
